Opportunities fo Service

Opportunities abound to become involved in these important acts of Christian friendship. Here are a few ways you can offer your time, gifts, talents, and skills:

Help plan and implement Summer Kids Club, including:

• Preparing and bringing lunch
• Teaching Bible lessons
• Leading arts and crafts sessions
• Playing with the kids at the park
• Playing board games with the kids during the afternoon
• Tutor an elementary-age child once a week during the school year
• Offer your skills to help repair a house (with guidance from a skilled carpenter)
• Visit/call a senior citizen
• Help with planning, organization, and setup of a community meeting
• In the summer, lead music or the devotional at Operation Shoestring on a Tuesday or Thursday morning

Help plan and implement Teen Service Projects, for example:

• Cooking for a community shelter
• Planting flowers for a senior citizen
