Join us for our next Lunch and Learn as Richie Burnette—musician, amateur Delta historian, and Brooks Elfert’s father—presents “No Jesus, No Elvis.”
Richie will explore the often-overlooked spiritual roots of American music, tracing the influence of the church on artists such as Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, Jimmie Rodgers, and many others. Whether you’re a music lover, history buff, or simply curious, this promises to be a fascinating presentation.
We’ll enjoy lunch together, followed by Richie’s presentation and time for questions.
