Join us for our next Lunch and Learn as Richie Burnette—a Mississippi raconteur and storyteller, and Brooks Elfert’s father—presents “No Jesus, No Elvis.”
Richie will explore the often-overlooked Christian roots of American music, tracing the influence of the church on artists such as Elvis Presley, B. B. King, Faith Hill, and many others. He’ll also share a few musical performances along the way. Whether you’re a music lover, history buff, or simply curious, this promises to be a fascinating presentation.
We’ll enjoy lunch together, followed by Richie’s presentation and time for questions.
