Congregational Meeting: Sunday, August 9

Dear Northminster Family of Faith,
We will have a congregational meeting on Sunday, August 9, immediately following the morning worship service to consider a recommendation from the Search Committee for Associate Pastor for Community and Missions.
After prayerful consideration, the Search Committee recommends that Northminster call the Reverend Masyn Evans-Clements.
Masyn earned her Master of Divinity degree from Logsdon Seminary in 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Ministry at Hardin-Simmons University in 2018. During her studies, she gained valuable ministry experience interning with youth programs at First Baptist Church of Abilene and Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas. Since 2019, Masyn has served at The Church at Highland Park in Austin, transitioning into the role of Associate Pastor following her ordination in 2021. In her ministry, she has overseen outreach, communications, missions, and Christian education for all age groups; supervised ministry staff; and regularly participated in worship-planning and preaching. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for Jesse C. Fletcher Seminary and co-founded a non-profit that facilitates youth camps, retreats, and ministry resources. Masyn and her husband, Brandon, have two children, Millie and Fletcher.
In its conversations with Masyn, the Search Committee was deeply impressed by her well-rounded background in church leadership, her strong communication skills, and her genuine enthusiasm for expanding and deepening Northminster’s community ministries.
