This major project was born of our most recent long-range plan and has taken a great deal of work from our ad hoc Communications Committee and church staff in partnership with The Ramey Agency.
More than a redesign, this website was built from the ground up after a number of conversations with Ramey, both by our committee and a group of church members. Ramey listened to our needs and designed our new site for ease of use, both on traditional browsers and mobile devices.
It was also important to us that this website be beautiful so that our digital spaces reflect the intentionality of our physical ones.
This site will be the hub of our communications, with an integrated calendar of events and helpful, shareable information about what’s happening at the church. In addition to keeping us better connected, we hope this site will also serve as a vibrant reflection of Northminster to our wider community, with pictures, video, and other signs of the vibrant life we all experience here.
Those who stream our services will especially benefit from this refresh. Active broadcasts, previous services, sermon transcripts, and worship bulletins are all available together directly in a new user-friendly format.
Please take some time to explore this new site and see firsthand how it will help us connect as a congregation and open ourselves to our community.
We give special thanks to Justin Beard, who chairs the Communications Committee, Holly Wiggs, who has served as the website’s project manager, and Geoff Davidson for his in-house tech consulting.
Stay tuned for additional communications roll-outs in the weeks to come as we adopt a new rhythm for monthly newsletters and more!
And don’t forget to download the new digital directory app by searching for “Northminster Baptist” on your phone’s app store. All members will have received an email from Church Harmony with a unique login and password. Reach out to Geoff for tech help!
